Afternoon all.

45 and light rain today.

Spent yesterday down in The City trim some trees. I spent the majority of that time either holding a rope or throwing sticks off the roof, but I at least got paid.

I spent this morning helping my mom with some canning projects (today was beans and hamburger), and now I’m preparing to take the dog for a bit of a walk, followed by a trip to the USFS office to pester them for fun.

Miserable weather day here today, Started as rain, turned to sleet, then to S**w, then back to rain/sleet and finally rain, temps were low to mid 30's it was the kind of day that make your entire body ache. Tomorrow will be better, going to meet a bunch of friends to swap/sell CAS clothes, gear and then a potluck dinner.Y'all have a good night.

Howdy all, got up to 73 this afternoon and lots of sun after a day that poured rain. Worked all day at the store, Monday going to work out with the owner on an ATI Commander, gun is in great shape, I will bobtail it, done it before and got talked out of the gun by a cop buddy. Church tomorrow, then after the Afternoon service gonna go buy a couple of new ceiling fans for the back porch. The windows are in so they are going to put them in this week.

Thanks, I had my 1st. and only cup of Coffee just a few minutes ago...

Reached 90 degrees a tad cooler than yesterday's 94...but they say Tues. & Wed. will be low 70's for the high.

I decided not to build the little Derringer Kit (already have two wall hangers in loading cave anyway)
I'll past it on....
(I had mention it in the Gun a Holic thread)
I have posted it on Ebay less the anti's over there pull it because it breaks one of their forbidden draconian rules

Had to make a run to town and the post office and send a package.
Then the grocery store, Sub sandwiches for tonight, Ice etc.
Grabbed some frozen waffles to have with my coffee this morning.
Note to self, Keurig Dunkin Donut brand is the bomb, it's fine for the larger mug indicator light.
BUT don't try to stretch it for two cups...trying a 2nd run through brew is rather weak brown water

Working on prepping for the new D Day exhibit. Pictured is the mock-up scale model.

Good morning folks! 52 here right now, supposed to hit 65 and sunny today. Had a nice dinner with the Missus last night and bought a couple new ceiling fans for the back porch. They are supposed to start putting the new windows in within the next couple days. That will be nice, making the porch a three season room. Put some new fancy grips on the new Commander today to dress it up a bit.

Wife had MRI's with contrast yesterday, that is to see how far it has spread. Supposed to start an approved FDA immune system treatment on the 4th, the other she don't fit the criteria, if this don't work then the chemo and radiation. Actual surgical removal of it is not really and option due to quality of life after. Don't remember if I mentioned it but my fall last week was still sore so went to Dr last week and I bruised the ribs and the lung on the right side. All we can do is pain meds and muscle relaxers, at least sleeping better.

Grrr...

a FedEx email scam was going around that claims to be a "package delivery notification" from the company, which said, "Your package is held in our warehouse."
The scam was being sent around, got two today and have seen several times before
particularly during gift-giving holidays.

Beware don't get scammed
