Well we got home a while ago. The main roads were great, until we got to our own house! Driveway still icy but we made it home allright. Hopefully gets warm enough to soften the big ice pile by the garage door.

 Me ?  I was up and out to scout out my assigned spot for Display on downtown main street.
I wanted to know in advance where I could unload, then park...
Then turned the trip into an excuse to stop by the frendly LGS.

Almost had a guy buying one of my holsters.
He bought a Heritage Rough Rider Bar Keeper, was looking to get a holster too.
I had one that fit it like it was made for it (it wasn't)... He's an older guy with his grandson (I assumed) with him.
Any he looked at several different guns before he decided on the 22Cal Revolver.
The thing that disturbed me as he kept turning the pieces in his hand to look them over and swept just about everyone including his grandson   WHO finally said "watch it stepping back and away (kid was about 11-12)"

Kid was more on the ball, than gramps!  Oh well! they left with the Heritage but didn't buy my holster.

I was up early today (for me) Riley don't like getting up early.   Got some things done including a nap.  Going to get some more things done, making slow progress.

Chinese hash here, got rid of some odds and ends and fried it up with rice.  Chinese hash.

Edit, Jasmine rice, very long grained and awesome.  I buy it cheap at Costco in 15 pound bags, expensive at the regular store in 1 pound bags.

Rita gets called Opal a lot because it seems the cartoon fits.   They also have big roomy aisles and the best mart carts in town.

Going to head out shortly to the Bike and Music thing in town.
Runs from 10 to 6 P....but I'll need some time to setup.
Prolly grab a crescent or biscuits egg & bacon at Wendys and some Iced Tea to cover morning vittles.

I'm gonna close out February with some left over coffee and finally putting my feet up. All the ice melting here had water running under the door of one of the rooms at our Church so we were running my ancient shopvac all day to keep things under control. I'm not as young as I used to be and my back is killing me. Anyway, we got the job done! Major, love the Star wars pics, and yup, there were modified Lewis guns in the original Star Wars.
