Morning y'all.
Thanks for the coffee.

Why are they going to Hayward?

Not going to the shoot. Grad party instead in Wausau.

'Tis 65 and partly cloudy. High of 75.

Afternoon all.

The weather is... Weather.  One minute is sunny, the next raining.  Pretty consistent 10-15mph wind. Temperature is 65-ish.

Today's excitement was a fairly large bike race in town.  I say fairly large,  the official count was 131 riders.  That's more than the graduating class at the highschool this year, so...
I worked as a volunteer at a rest stop, handing out water and snacks, and radioing numbers to base. I got a bag of corn chips and a cup of lime and selzer water out of the ordeal.

Major, staying home from the gun show is a good way to save money...at least that's what I've heard.  ::). Hope you get over the bug quickly.

I did not know about the Fresh Water Fish one. A couple weeks ago Andrew Zimner had a episode at the Lumberjack Festival.

Thanks for the well wishes it helps... I'm improving.

Missed the gun show though , however I had sorta the next best thing. My friend and shooting pard did go and was looking out for me.
He purchased a nice Krag Bandoleer w/ 1898 Ball ammo packs still sealed inside.

This will be a cool wall hanger in my reloading den... I'll make a plexi shadow box to contain it.

Morning all.

40 degrees in California today.  Last night hit 35.  We're forecast for 80, but I'm not buying that.  65 sounds more realistic.

Nice find, major.

City trip for church today.  Afterwards have to make a couple stops.  Mother and younger siblings have church camp this week, so they need some stuff.  I have a camping trip tomorrow for a quick overnight deal in the Alps.  I have to stop at Sportsman's Warehouse, which will be dangerous.  ::)

Afternoon Y'all I just got back froma shoot in Pa. was 42 shooters I think, I shot the match clean, had a good time, was just starting to rain at the last stage, but not heavy, we all shot it then helped put the targets away.

Off today, been I the basement working.  Wife drug home a couple nice T-Bones at around 24 oz each.  Got some tators baling and getting the 15" skillet hot.   Grid iron big grill went somewhere, think I member stepdaughter borrowing it, says she didn't.  Don't need lines on a steak anyway.  Wife wants medium raw, mine was actually fully but not over cooked with a butter baste.

Go ahead, call me a sissy for not wanting it raw, big debate in the cooking groups, people say you can't cook a steak beyond medium rare with out ruining it.  I tell them not to judge me by this skills.  Slim and  Micha will   agree.  I like the full flavor of the Malliard Reaction.

Funny I had a guy tell me he don't like tough dry meat one time as h was eating jerky. ;D

Seems like today was the first day in a couple of weeks when I ended the day with less left to do that when I started it. Plugged in the lead pot as soon as I got up, cast most of a pot full of wheel weights into nice shiny 225 gr .45 bullets before going to church. Short nap and then lunch after church, then tackle the mis-firing Blazer one more time. Yesterday I put in a new Fuel Injection, and it still missed, although on a different cylinder than before. Was expecting to have to warranty the unit, but when  I unplugged the harness from it, one of the connector pins was bent. Straightened with a needle nose pliers and viola! no miss! The Blazer Red Rover is ready to roam again! With time left to work some in the garden and then size/lube some of those shiny new .45 bullets before supper.
