Garrett Sharps carbine
« on: September 05, 2023, 02:40:19 PM »
I have a .54 cal Garrett Sharps I bought from a friend of mine, his widow actually.  The forestock was cracked and repaired at some point.  Is there a place to buy a new forestock?

i would check with VTI or Pedersoli. It might take some fitting but how cracked is it?
i have a Pedersoli carbine and they are fun to shoot.
Good luck

Garrett Sharps were made by Palmetto Armory in Italy. They have not been made in about 35 years.
They were very well made and the only replica with the Lawarence Prime System, it even functioned.
Of course, the Primer pellets were not made or available.
Sadly, a Garret forestock you would need is on someone else's gun. :(

I think Dixie has a 90% inletted new replacement from time to time.
