I didn't get this one for Christmas like the other ones because it came on GunBroker too late. But I was glad it finally showed up here in January and it completes the model of Norwegian Krags I will be getting for some time. The other models of Norwegian Krags are not on my radar and are more difficult to acquire. This one is a model 1912 made in 1916. It is all numbers matching except for the front barrel band. It functions like all the Krags and I will be taking it to the range here shortly to sight in and work up loads for it. I also want to thank Cap'n Redneck for all his assistance with information on the Norwegian military and equipment. He has even helped me with the purchase of an original Norwegian holster. My hope is that I can get it all together for shooting and make a respectable representation of the Norwegians in shooting at GAF musters this year when I can.
