NCOWS question

Here's a question. What is the cut off date for NCOWS legal guns? I've looked everywhere, and cannot find an answer for some reason. Is it 1899? Early 1900s? Also, would ANY gun/design that was around prior to this daet be ok for use, even if it doesn't follow normal cowboy trends?

You 'might' ask this in the NCOWS forum - they'll be more than happy to tell you.

But 1899 is right, and you 'can' use double-actions in double action.

You have to do your own documentation that the piece was in use during the time frame, should you find (or have) something unusual, though - that falls on the individual.
