.30 Mauser and .30 Tokarev ammo in New England
« on: January 02, 2013, 04:57:12 PM »

Too all New England area Zootshooters.

I was up at Riely's in Hookset today, and found what I think are pretty decent prices on some ammo.

.30 Mauser $19 and change.
.30 Tokarev $18 and change.

Boxes of 50.

I've been having a dickens of a time finding brass for either caliber, especially the Tokarev, so I thoght for these prices, it would be worth it.

So if your planning to bring a Broomhandle or a TT down to Copicut later this year, here's a place where you can get ammo.

Both are full metal jacketed.   I'm not sure if that means we have to pull the bullets and reload, but even then, it's more practical than new brass that nobody has in stock.

Oh, and I finally got my AZSA membership stuff.   So say hello to....

Uriah the Inkblot!

Just to clarify, never use 7.62mm Tokarev ammo in a 7.63mm C-96 Mauser (broomhandle) pistol.
