Went and shot the Black Powder Target Rifle Federation Creedmore Nat'l Championship out in Byers CO. 17 to 21 october. 800, 900, 1000 yards, 30 shots on paper each range.  Scored 550 out of 900 possible, top rookie, had a lot of fun, learned a lot.  Good load, good rifle, boy do I need to learn more about reading the wind.    ;D

Shiloh 1877 1-16" twist.  45-2.4"  82 grains 2f Swiss, 555 grain grease groove bullet.  1291 fps with an ES of 8 fps.

I shot prone over low cross sticks.  Older shooters are allowed to use portable benchs.

:) Not to be Snarkey ;). (wanna bet)

Scores??  How can ya post scores??  I cant even see a target at 1000 Yards.  Nor even 800 Yards.  Let alone shoot at something that far away.  For me, the target would need to be the size of an Elephant and painted Blaze Orange!!  ;D   I am most admiring of guys and gals who can actually DO that!!   :o

Oregon Bill

Another swell shoot. I have been way out of this loop for far too long.
