Rolling Block Triggers

Gentlemen, I've now owned three Rolling Blocks, two sporting rifles and one Navy Model.  Both Sporting Rifles have fantastic triggers.  Was that normal?

No, usually the spring needs to be altered.  You got lucky.  Don't break anything . . .
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

To be honest, I wouldn't want either one lighter.  The Navy Model was a typical military trigger.

Don't break anything??!!  How am I supposed to shoot without doing that?  I have a reputation to maintain!

Just keep breaking things but not the RB triggers!!! ;D

My RB sporter ie cut down infantry rifle has a horrible trigger.  I have not way to measure it but my guess is over 15#.

Why guess? Pick up a Lyman trigger pull gage. I have 4 rollers and have all their triggers at 2 lbs by reworking the springs.
