Evening y'all.

'Twas a warm one at the fair, today.

Up and at um, gonna load some 45 ACP and mount in 1/2 moon clips for the M1917
I got the Moon clips off eBay  https://www.ebay.com/itm/124634854945?hash=item1d04d0f621:g:BGUAAOSw0w9dpk-5
Make an offer, of $8.50 per set of 3 .... and get shipping free (seller's own suggestion, per my inquiry )

I'll save my Auto Rim Brass for the Webley

79° now headed to 93°  Rain @ 10%
I bought some plastic moon clips per Drydock's suggestion. A lot easier to load and unload than steel one.

Coffee and iced tea are ready.

I'll try not.

Horse speed show this morn.

'Tis 71 and cloudy. "Humid. Cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent."

I wanted the classic original style 1/2 moon clips for my M1917
These I found are pretty ez to load.

However, I  did look at the plastic clips ,  10 , RIMZ 625 moon clips @  $35.00

I don't remember paying that much but maybe I did. I cut a couple in half to make half moon clips for GAF Muster.

Slowly working in the kitchen, I will have it under control soon.   Local hospitals are cutting off elective surgery, so likely her other knee one will not happen in Oct and probably no chance of getting this artery in my heart fixed after the first of the year.

Got another one of those situations with who's rights are more important, yours by not getting vaccinated or mine to have a room at the hospital when I need it but can't because you have COVID because you didn't get it.   Yes some get it anyway but most of those don't require a hospital because they are mild like anyone should realize what would happen. ::)  Running about 10-1 vaccinated vs unvaccinated.

Of course the people saying it should be mandatory also screw things up because damn, we know most of us don't like being told what to do.   To many extremists and less and less with common sense and the SOB's vote. ::)

I think I handled one of those SA 911s in my LGS, seemed like putting the safety in the off position pinched the web of my hand, on one side or the other. I think it was the "left handed" safety, the one on the right side. As in pinched hard enough I could let go of the grip and it would just hang there. Maybe I just have fat hands?

Evening all.

Back in Missoula after my excursion to Helena. Did a lot of digging, sat through a lot of PowerPoint, and ate a lot of snacks. Now I may or may not be called up to go fight actual fires.

In other news, we had appreciable levels of sn*w above 4000 feet on Friday night.

Spearmint went well, was like by all, instead of adding the Lea and Perrins to the broth/gravy after browning the patties in the cast iron at 500F in the oven and draining most the grease I poured a good splash over each patty and the excess drained on to the hot iron and has the most fantastic Malliard Reaction before I added the broth and corn starch.  Most beautiful brown gravy you ever seen, down side, clean up was a bit more but worth the price. ;D

I love when done asking them how the anchovy dish was because they both love it and have to admit they aet anchovies.   Note Lea and Perrins still makes it right, some of the inferior brands have dropped them.

What's crazier? Our Governor advertising for nurses to come work with the medically fragile population of Veterans by promoting they don't have to be vaccinated?
