Some did not care for the articles concerning the Golden era of Films, character actors etc. written by Jack Lewis or the child actor Patrick Curtis , But I enjoyed those because I was that industry .

Crossdraw Kid
Patrick Curtis, is the only remaining child (baby Beau Wilkes ) actor still living that was in Gone with The Wind and he was married to Raquel Welch ! He also Produced films including some of Ms Welch.
Also known as the Crossdraw Kid , he served active duty in 1967
was assigned to Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron VMFA-323 — The Death Rattlers — who were then stationed at Da Nang , Vietnam. The Snakes, flying F-4 Phantoms, then transferred from Da Nang Air Base, and flew out of Marine Corps Air Station, Chu Lai, starting in early ‘67.

Jack Lewis served with the Marines during WW II.
In 1950 Lewis was on the editorial staff of the Santa Ana (CA) Register and writing screenplays for Johnny Mack Brown, Lash Larue and others when he was called back to service with the Marines in Korea. He was one of the first Americans into Wonsan, North Korea when it was taken from the communists. He returned to the states but then volunteered to return to Korea and spent 14 months on a second tour. When he finished the tour in 1953 he had been promoted to captain and had been awarded Bronze Star, the Air Medal and the Commendation Medal. He wrote Naked Gun (1956) and Sergeant Rutledge (1960)
He was the Founder of Gun World magazine.
