Started on another build after finishing up the riot gun. This one is just because the brilliant JMB designed it and I really like it. Unfortunately it’s not a shotgun that I can use in anything that we do here. I’m building a Stevens Riverside 520 into a 520-30 trenchgun. I’ve had the donor since 2019 and have since collected the bits and pieces for it so now I’ll finally get to work on it. Too many projects. Here it is apart. My plan is to leave the 30 inch bbl assembly and do a second trenchgun bbl assembly too. I’ll keep the checkered butt to go with the 30 inch checkered pump handle but put together a plain wood butt and pump handle for the trench. Started fitting the semi inlet stock and blued the handguard. More to do.
