Changes to the 2026 Grand Muster

There will be a few changes to the 2026 Grand Muster.

One is that the Grand Muster will be moving to the 1st weekend of June. Originally when we moved it to June from July to try to get cooler weather, we chose the last weekend of June so as to stay as far away from the first weekend as possible and still be in June. This was because NCOWS was holding their National shoot the First weekend and we didn't want to compete with them since so many of our attendees were also NCOWS attendees. Now, with NCOWS moving away from the first weekend of June there is no reason for us NOT to move the Muster up to the first part of the month to try to get some cooler weather.

That brings up Change number 2. The Comstock Lodge will not be available to cater the banquet that Saturday night next year. I have begun a search for another caterer and have contacted one and they said they'd get back to me ASAP.

Another change that the move to the first weekend brings is that we won't be in competition with the alumni celebrations in the area, so it is possible that lodging MAY be easier to find. I understand that the Wildlife Inn in Taylor was already booked for the last weekend of June 2026. With the move to the 1st weekend, they MAY have rooms available.  The Comstock Lodge may have some rooms available too. You will just have to check
