I went to the first CAS match of the year today. Shot 6 stages, 3 were great, 1 was so so and the other two were train wrecks. But I had a great time with friends I haven't seen since last year so all in all was a good day.

It's nice to see a great positive attitude!

Morning folks, slept in today and it felt good. Now working on the third cuppa coffee, 48 here right now, supposed to hit 65 today and heavy rain tonight and tomorrow. Watched the Cardinals tie it up and then lose in 10 inning last night, rats. Gonna work in the train room a bit today, other than that, being lazy sounds like a top tier plan. Y'all be good.

Afternoon Y'all,
I guess I did better than I thought at the match this past Sunday. I was 1st in category (Senior) and 13th overall out of 31 shooters. Guess everyone was blowing the cobwebs off.
Sunny and 74 here right now. Time for some SweeTea. Y'all have a good day.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

Learned good info. Took the Stop The Bleed class. Stopthebleed.org. There is a free on-line course.

'Tis 39 and partly cloudy. "Cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the morning  then showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 60s. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 90 percent."

Hit 72 and sunny here today, started out with drizzle, then by mid-morning turned real pretty. Worked today and then Sheepdog duty at the Spanish Ministry at Church. Y'all have a good one.

I took the online course as part of my CCW course. Bought and carried quick-clot in addition to a trauma kit.
Good stuff when used properly.

Good morning all, woke up early on a day off, but okay, that works too. Supposed to hit 77 here today and sunny. Gonna prep the gunbuggy today and hopefully can get tomorrow off work to go shoot.

Still alive here.

Going to have a lapro surgery on the 23rd.  Slim will remember when it was a common occurrence.  Well I want you to know it's been 17 years thanks to newer methods.

Actually been dealing with them for a couple years again but not as bad as sometimes.  Was in the hospital for 5 days Nov of 2022.   Rita got cancer and I put this on hold as long as I could and I got by till she was better.  One reason I seemed to disappear for a while the last year.  They would give me pain meds and such and was either sleeping or taking care of her.
