Got back home from Alabama State, safe trip and amazingly I took Third Place in Gunfighter. Great weather there and travel home until the last hour when it rained/poured. Anyway, it is good to be home.

Another one for people who think the way they eat their steak is the only proper way, seen this a lot also. ::)

Made Slim, Micha and I T-Bones on night and did the well, not my favored medium well because that's what Micha wanted.  We ate the with just metal forks but I grabbed a plastic for fun, tried it and it worked.  But it does take a very good cook, so after trying mistakes people seem to like half cooked.

Myself it's just pepper and nothing else most times, sometimes Lea and Perrins, but no other brand it fit that I've tried.

I have to be in agreement.  Ifin it takes morin 20 minutes with a Vet to get back on its feet, it be overcooked fer sure.

looks like 65 here in the North.  May go to 72 or 3 in the afternoon.  We're also forecast for Thunderstorms.  Be time to hop out onna Veranda and watch the Lightning and enjoy the Ka-Boom.  Love Thunderstorms.

I'm here, up all night with a sick wife, nothing serious but since this all started I can't sleep even if she's in the living room.  Riley tells me if I don't hear her up.  He's taking his new job serious.  For some reason the big cat has decided she likes to hide behind my computer screens and he finds out and yells at her.  Rita went to a 2 o:clock funeral thing and I passed, one of her cousins.  She decided to put on her rings she had to take off for surgery and dropped the birthstone one.  I got down on the floor and found it, landed in the top case of peaches under her dresser, open and half gone.

Riley watched and was ready to yell for help, not that anyone would hear but me and the cats.  Much better than Tuesday morning I got up on my own, expected it but also had a cane close.  Was a little short of breath but a lot better.  We are not 100% sure what the problem is but the Z Pack helped.  Almost always does with this crap, and one I'm not allergic to.

Got an appointment with the Pulmo Dr. on the 21st.  The old witch I didn't like retired and got a brand new young one, good chance I may have seen him as a resident in the hospital. ;D

Got some boneless pork chops or what ever they call loin cut and no bone today, different name tomorrow. ;) Got them in the crock pot, got them mostly done and starting to pull last night and then put them in the ice box after cooking them on low for a while in some of that fancy ketchup stuff. ::)

Some people get all upset about it but out of the 100 or so BBQ sauces and the 100 or so rubs in a big store most are similar and if you do a true blind test of them aka cook and serve with out telling them what it is people say it's good and almost never ask what it is.  And if you ask if they don't make their own most use the most advertised one.  ::)

Yes I'm feeling good again and doing my mild rants.   Also most want their bacon and fish over cooked.  Been watching for use it or freeze it on Yellow Fin, first time I cooked it she sent it back as half raw. ;)  Then she complained it was dry. ::)  She likes those T fish I call Egyptian Crappie.  Says it reminds her of them which it does.

That first cup really hist the spot.  Got the AC fix'd yesterday for less than a Grand, so dodged a bullet there.

Current forecast is for reasonable temperature but rain for every day next week.  Boo Hiss.  Make everything green though.
