Does the Pietta Pistoller have the firing pin bushing?

Hi Rio,

Don't remember.  Were it I, would call Cimarron and ask their Guru.  However, I haven't seen a recent production SA from Pietta that didn't have a harden'd bushing at the firing pin.  I may not be a good current source though.  Been a while since I was employed working on CAS Guns.

Most Pietta cartridge guns have the bushing, but the Pistolero being the budget model (hence the brass gripframe), I expect it has the bushing but not positive.

If I wanted one otherwise I certainly wouldn't let that stop me. I've never understood why it's an issue. The Ubertis don't have it and I've got several that have had literally thousands of rounds through them and never an issue.

Oh yeah, I definitely  agree. I have already bought it. The new Cattleman II with the three clicks does not bother ( I do have one of those, also). But I have heard so much about the Cimarron Piettas, that I just had to try one.

Personally I can't allow myself to go for the new Cattleman action. When I can no longer get the original 4 click action I've bought my last new gun from them. I've got enough parts to keep my old ones running if something breaks.

I barely notice it any more.

I don't notice it at all   ;D   Of course, there is perfectly good reason for that.  Cap Guns and Conversions never had more than three (3) klikz.  Hubba Hubba Ding Dong  ::)
