Thank you gents, hope you are all well this morning. Sunny here right now, supposed to hit 76 today with rain coming in this afternoon. Day off today with the Missus out of town. Goal for today is cleaning the reloading bench and a couple of hours working on the model trains.

My LGS texted yesterday my new S&W 643 was in from the distributor.
I did not see the text till until 4:40PM so I'll go pick it up later this morning.
With summer approaching it will be my go-to CCW rather than the Mod 36 I've (below) have been toting.

Ill edit with a photo when it is in hand.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

Rained overnight.

I have a 442. I wish it was stainless. Better for pocket carry.

'Tis 48 and rain. "Blustery. Cloudy. Showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms in the morning  then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 60s. South wind 10 to 15 mph shifting to the west 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 70 percent."

It's Home, and just completed the Rebate incentive  ;)  $50 bucks is $50  ;)

You are present for the case opening, though not the virgin opening (did that inspection at the LGS first)
The Altamont supplied grip fit my hand quite well, however I may get these Altamont's anyway.
I have a remaining Xmas Amazon gift card, so they would be in effect free  ;D

Next is to load and shoot it some... then CCW

Thanks Slim
I went out yesterday and replaced my 12 year old lawn tractor. The engine went and it would cost more to replace the engine than to buy a new tractor. It's supposed to get delivered today and of course it's raining.

I was alerted to be by the phone at 10AM this morning for a surprise.

The call came in from a 4th. grade class at Polk County's Lena Vista Elementary school.
The entire class sang Happy Birthday to me  ;D
I don't know the first one of them, course I do know their teacher who is the wife of a friend.
I never had anything like that, what a great gift.  :D

I'm off to have 4 new tires put on my SUV, that's gonna set the mad cash in the sock drawer back!

I passed my tests, surgery will go as planned Tuesday.

We are seriously looking for something smaller, maybe an assisted care.  The dog was going to be the stumbling block but recently someone of the medic field had a suggestion.  Took care of the problem, he ain't a beer fetching type service dog, probably get a blind person ran over.  Dr is doing me a letter also.  I think it was to easy, but plan on using it if they say no doges.  The one we've been looking at says 25 pounds max, but this will null and void it.  You all know how he kept me on a straight and narrow and almost had a stress related heart attack in Sept and on an anti-stress med.

And no I ain't going to take him to grocery stores and such.  I don't think he'd like riding in the cart. ;D

Dr is going to write me up a letter saying he helps me with my stress, which he does.

That is very good. I have two other friends with working/supports dogs.
One is vision impaired, not totally blind but can't see squat after dusk.
The other has a fib and the dog is support- alert and carries meds.

My dog "Blaze" has his credentials having graduated advanced training.
He goes on wellness visits to recovery & assisted living places.

Actually think he knew Rita had cancer before we did.

I looked over the options and decided this was the best because it really ain't lying.

I will say it's too easy, was just shy of $60.

Del, praying here for you. Congrats on getting your doggo his Service Card, he has already proven his qualifications. My Missus will be home tomorrow from her Illinois visit, place is quite empty without her here. Hoping the Cardinals can pull a win off tonight, but they are down 1-0 in the 8th.

I just received this morning an email from Harbour Freight, say's I have won a Pittsburg Tool Set.

Scammers are doubling efforts to rip off internet users by impersonating the hardware store chains like Harbor Freight Tools in emails and on websites. The fake "free" offers presented by scammers in a variety of different emails included a "170-Piece Stanley Tool Set," "Milwaukee Power Drill," "DeWalt Power Station," and other products.
I have received other similar email scams including Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace and others.

The links in all of the emails, began with a survey and ended with a hidden subscription scam. The survey is fake, meaning that no one was going back and checking users' answers to compile any data.

Scroll over or otherwise hover over the “from” in the email.
That will usually show an obvious “not from harbor freight adress”

Also, scroll or hover over the link, similar results.

Also also, do not bother to try to “unsubscribe” from anything anymore, it just confirms to the bad players that they have a live email
