When you post there, just below the text box that you type in there is a black link that says "Additional Options". Once you click that more options show up and one of those options is "Attach".  Use that to browse to photos on your PC and up load them to this server and display in your post.  There are some size restrictions so if your photo is very large you should size it before attempting to attach it.

Kurt,
Camille gave you good advice. Here is another way that Delmonico showed me.
Instructions for posting picture from Photobucket
Go to    http://photobucket.com/
Sign up for an account - It's free. After establishing
an account, go to your Photobucket account and click
on the green upload now button. It will take you to a
page that says in green "select photos  and videos".
Click on that button and you will go to the photo lists
that are on your computer. The photos will be listed by
JPEG number, so you need to know which JPEG photo
you want to upload. Click on the JPEG # and then click
on open. This automatically uploads your selected photo
to your Photobucket album. Click on "save and continue
to my album". Click on the pic you want to upload to CAS.
Hold you cursor at the top edge of the photo selected.
An info bar will drop down and you can resize the pic to
640x480. Go to the "Direct Link" line on Photobucket and
copy it. Do this by just clicking on the line and it will automatically
be copied. Now go to CAS and click on the "Insert Image"
logo (this is in the 2nd line of boxes, third from the
left, just under the message icon) you have to put your
cursor on the logo and it will tell you it is the "insert image" box.
Now go to your computer paste command and paste your Photobucket
link in. You're there. Sounds kind of complicated, but it
isn't. Give it a try on this Posting Photos inquiry. Feel
free to emule me if you need more assistance.

Howdy,
I followed the steps Camille posted but when I pushed preview, the photo did not appear in the preview
window.  If I had gone ahead and pushed post would it appear?

Regards

Additional options is fine for thumbnails - what about full size images that some folks post?

They are images linked from other web sites.  You use the img tag and then place the url for the image, not the link to the page that the image is on it has to be the actual link to the image.  See the button at the top of your editing window that says "insert image".

Thumbnails expand when clicked on them and the photos posted in that manner will always be available for viewing.  If you link and image then the availability of the image is determined by the owner of the site that you linked from and the image can disappear at any time.

The site will size them some but sometimes when a picture is in a web page if you copy the url for the page from your address bar you don't have a link to the actual image.  In this case you can usually right click on the image and select copy image location and use that to link the image here.

Note the difference in the file extensions.
Check this  http://kimandbarrymckenzie.com/EoT2005/2005-04-23_Out_of_Albequerque/pages/P4230175_JPG.htm

See although the page is an image you can't use that link to insert the image here.  What you actually have to use is this
http://kimandbarrymckenzie.com/EoT2005/2005-04-23_Out_of_Albequerque/images/P4230175_JPG.jpg  and you have to make sure that it's inside the  img tags like this

Code: [Select]
