Landing Force Manual United States Navy 1918 Purchased
« on: May 30, 2023, 05:44:39 PM »
I just pruchased this Landing Force Manual United States Navy 1918. It is in great shape and is named to a C. Clinton CarpenterAugust 26, 1918. It is pretty interesting and even has pictures which I will share some here with you all. Another interesting thing is that in the chapter for First Aid, there is a 5 leaf clover in it. Not sure if it brought him luck or not. Purchased it for $19.00.

...welp, I can see it now, we'll be storming a beach..... bad thing is, our creek doesn't have sufficient flow to launch a boat!  In retospect, that might be a plus,lol....

Maybe we should move the outhouse closer to the rim of the creek and then there would be enough to launch a boat.

Well, someone has got to bring along the Maxim gun, as you cannot expect Marines to operate equipment that sophisticated.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

True.  One of the best scenes in The Wind and the Lion!  (If any of you haven't seen that movie, you really NEED to!)
