As others said, that's about as good of excuse to buy a 357 revolver as you could come up with.

Cool photo, Major. Do you know the year of manufacture on those two Colts?

I do, left 1922 38 Police Positive Special and right 1919 38 Police Positive 38 NP or AKA 38 S&W

I have modest collection of old "gat's", "heater's", or "rod", and "roscoe"

and make the cartridge boxes :)

Thanks. That's my favorite period for them. Nice boxes, too.

I would like to jump in here, but I think all the options have pretty much been covered, in the past trying to make a holster or gun belt do something different than it was built for didn't work well for me, and instead of wasting my time any further , I just built another, to the right specs, and I was happy and so was the customer, this is just my experience, I have to ask myself is it worth maybe ruining a nice belt / holster and redoing bullet loops, in my opinion , not really, like Will pointed, out, call El Paso, and if they will help you out, they might rather like keeping their work in tact, and make an exchange, if you're not making your own, just order the right set up, and buy a gun for the one you have...🙃😵💫👍🤔
