Yea buddy.  Lots and lots of gangsta you betcha.  I were actually counting the Nickles and Dimes inna sock drawer right up until I remembered itza 9mm.  I don't do 9mm.  don't even like 9mm.  Now, were it 45 ACP I'd be for putting my Lemonade stand onna street corner (again).  But alas, not to be (I don't think). Oh well.

Major 2

I have a few 9's, 1916 Erfurt Luger P08, a 1944 byf (Mauser) P38, an 1971  NATO MAB PA 15 -Manufacture d'Armes Automatiques de Bayonne.
As noted, they are old school, I do have an EMP
by Springfield Armory the was made in 2020, but its 1911 technology.

I don't have any modern polymer guns (did have SIG 365 for a coupla years)

 :) Well Heck ;)

Call me a luddite iffin you will.  Butt and However.  I am simply NOT a fan of Polymer Guns.  I are a firm believer, guns were ment to be made of steel.  I know, I know, the Polymers used for receivers is tough stuff.  Butt and However, it ain't STEEL.  Were I to discover any gun I was lusting after, had a Polymer receiver, that would end it right there.  Not to mention, I am not a fan of the 9mm.

Abilene

It's been over 20 years since I got them but I have a total of 4 polymer guns, two Glocks (9, 45) and two Keltecs (9, 32).  They are not sexy guns.  But they serve their purpose.  :)

 :) Yepper.  I must agree ;)

Steel and Walnut.  Well, sorta mostly.  I also include Ivory and B Bubinga.  I have custom crafted Bubinga into custom grips several times.  A rather striking colour it is!!

I would also have to accept the descriptive "Dinosaur".  I resemble that  ;D

Major 2

Well yeah, WOOD be it Walnut, Rosewood, Cocobolo, or Bubinga = African Rosewood or any genus Dalbergia. Seems every country has their name in front of a verity of rosewood.

My latest set are American Holly (bought from Woodcrafters Supply)
I fashioned for one of my 1911's.

Circling back to the OP's original subject

I saw this...WATCHTOWER Defense and Its Owners Successfully Closed a Sale Transaction, Acquiring Substantially All the Assets of WATCHTOWER Firearms in its Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case.

Watchtower Firearms "DEMOLITIA"  just tad NORTH of the original 1911.
Perhaps a new John Wick category  ;D

While discussing Grips

There is something to be said for an Original Keyes
linen-reinforced phenolic (LRP) grips issued on WW2 1911's
These are Keyes LRP on a 1945 Ithica 1911, Issued to Capt. William "Bill" Roberts.
I am the current caretaker; I acquired from the late B26 Bomber pilot in 2019.

 :) Hey Hey Hey Major 2  ;)

Those are some really really nice grips on your 1911s.  Expecial fond of your Cimarron.  Your Cimarron is exceptional by itself.

Obviously, I am a dye hard fan of the 1911 platform.  I am a fan of almost ALL things 1911.  Whilst I don't have any affection for the 9mm, I recently came across something new to me, "The 30 Carry."  I don't know that I would personally want one, but I could be coerced into playing with one for a while.  ALL things 1911, remember!!

And, since I started this whole flog, if that Watchtower "DEMOLITIA" only came in .45 > > > > > >

Major 2

I'm also a 1911 platform proponent.

My very first was a surplus parts build with a Colt slide and Remington-Rand A1 frame. It had miscellaneous parts assembled into
a rather well functioning gun.
Perhaps the coolest one I ever handled, belong to a Lawyer
It had been a Miami Bootleggers Nickel & Ivory beauty.
Or maybe it was the Lawyer's Singer 1911 (he had a FINE collection of 1911's) that Singer is the only one I've ever seen let alone held.
