I've made my own boxes for quite some time for my own reloads use.
Gave some away, and still dabble in Milsurp & CAS Calibers but never commercially.

I just found this guy on eBay...

https://www.ebay.com/str/wartimeammoboxreplicas?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211

I ordered some 38 cal., Vietnam Era replica boxes.
I'll report how these work out.
He has a good assortment of Milsurp if anyone wants to peruse.

I thought so too Kevin, I just stumbled across the guy's site.
I've used mine own version for years.
Like these Berthier Artillery Musketoon (Label rounds)

But I saw his M41 38 Box's perfect for display with either my 1945 Colt Commando and/or 1965 S&W Combat Masterpiece.

I have three similar unopened original WW2 45 ACP boxes
Mr. Roberts gave me when I received his issue Ithica.

The boxes arrived today USPS he has free shipping from Texas,
to the cont. US
I'm impressed, placed another order this afternoon for WW2 era 45 ACP

Edit: here is a photo of the boxes > note: he sends an instruction sheet to fold (they are shipped flat) not really needed, but heck efficient of him anyway.  :)

shown with a few of my 38 special reloads (I also load wadcutters, thanks to Dakota Ike's gift.)

The 45ACP boxes just ordered are the rare 1944-45 EVANSVILLE-CHRYSLER LATE WAR M1911 .45 ACP.
I have some original Frankfort (WW2) and Lake City but have not seen late war EC before. The cost is $2.50 each lot of three.

By 1940 it was obvious that Frankford Arsenal would not be able to supply adequate quantities of ammunition should the U.S. get drawn into the war. The first contract to build up the stock of Cal. .45 Ball M1911 ammunition was given to Western Cartridge Company in October 1940 for 50 million rounds. This was followed by a contract to Remington Arms Company for 71 million rounds. An additional contract was also given to Winchester Repeating Arms Company, and these were all referred to as educational contracts. In 1941 plans were made to open additional production facilities, which then became a priority after December 7th, 1941. These plants, in addition to some production at Frankford Arsenal, would for the most part produce the .45 ACP M1911 Ball ammunition required for WWII.  By 1944, most Cal. .45 Ball production was drastically reduced due to lower demand, but by the end of the war over four billion rounds had been made. The 50 round carton was introduced in mid-1942, replacing the 20 round carton then in use.
