Since everyone is postin' pics of cats, I figgered I should post some of mine.
The first is our inside cat. Her name is Patch. She'll be having kittens in a month or two. 


This one is one of our outside Toms. His name is Whiptip, 'cuz he whips his tail when ya pet 'im.

It's 86 up here on the mountain, just heard on the radio, it's 98 in the valley,  Down at Ozark.

all the houses are done, ready for birds, except for lighting the fires. got to keep it at 90 degrees in there for a few days,  :-\won't be hard at all in the daytime

my wife and I raise turkey's,  we are getting 32,000 just hatched little turkeys tomorrow morning, about 7:30.   we have 32,000 big birds right now that are 10 weeks old.

  so we've been getting ready for them the last couple of weeks.  we put in new bedding and build rings out of cardboard to keep them from all running together,  keep them in the rings the first week, 

 we have 2 baby houses that hold 16,000 each,  then when they get 5-6 weeks old we move them into 4 growout houses that hold 8,000 each.

we raise around 180,000 birds per year.

when I go back down to the barns, I'll take a couple of pictures fo the houses before the birds are in.
