Major

some years ago I had a Jeep Wrangler with a plastic Rad, it was leaking at the top tank...

no practical way to seal it so replacement was in order.... I called Radiator Barn (national Wearhouse) and they sent me an all metal replacement in 24 hours.
perfect drop-in
I was impressed

Ok, Rita should be out of the hospital Thursday or Friday, but they are talking rehab hospital for a week or so, I expect the same fate.

Lexie and her mom are staying here with Riley, Lexie is doing good with him and is teaching him to put his toys away.

Figure we'll have overlap at rehab also, wonder if I sneak out to her room if I'd get in trouble. 🤪  It's not like we'd be up to doing anything.🤣

Evening all.

Arrived in The Golden State last night around 5.  Spent today recovering and returning the uhaul dolly. For posterity sake, I would really not suggest those things for anything more than a trip across town. Absolute pain to drive, and no brakes.

Major, I second Radiator Barn. My dad has bought three from them (2 for a '97 Chevy 4.3 V6,and one for a '05 Subaru 2.5).  The two Chevy rads were metal, and the Subaru was plastic.

Now if you all will excuse me, I have a casserole to make.

Checked out radiator barn, they only listed aftermarket radiators with the plastic tanks and they cost more than the one I ordered from Rock Auto.com, But thanks for the heads up.

Never heard of Radiator Barn. I looked there and at Rock Auto. Both had similar priced radiators for my Jeep Liberty. Neither had one with metal tanks just the cores. Both were cheaper than my mechanic charged. Hope I don?t need another one.

Glen hope the best for you and Rita

Here is the message I got from Delmonico's daughter at 1:13 PM, "His heart is better today it was at 30% instead of 20 but that can change daily. They did 4 bypasses, took 1 vein from his leg and stuff from the chest. He is tubed for breathing so we still can't see him for 3 or more hours so we can't see him until it is out. But dr said things were good and it went well."
