1858 owner's manual
« on: February 16, 2009, 09:34:03 AM »
Howdy fellers,
My father-in-law just got an 1858 Rem .44 from his father who passed away. There is no manual with it. I did a search in here, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I did a google search, but couldn't find one either. I'm looking for a website with an owner's manual which I can download for him. I tried Uberti, but they only had a parts diagram. Does anyone know of such a site? Thanks!

I think I might have a manual from Pietta around somewhere that covers all their cap & ball pistols . . . I'll be bringing my workshop ( www.drburkholter.com/cf16.html home from the storage facility in a day or so and if I happen upon it I'd be happy to send it to ya.

Not that a manual is of much use.  Anything anyone needs to know can be found right here.  What make is the pistol ?

Good shootin' . . . .  :)

Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Here is a generic manual from Cimarron that you can print out which covers both Colt and Remington conversions:
