My take on a "Barlow" knife
« on: May 13, 2012, 07:09:45 AM »
Just finished up this morning.

The pictures don't do it justice, the Rosewood scales are smooth as silk with a beautiful grain.

THat is great looking!  I have my grandfather's barlow, bone scales, the blade sharpened down to nearly nothing.  Love those pocket knives.   Yours should not be carried in a pocket, but out for everyone to see!

You made the whole thing or dressed it up?
Either way outstanding work.  8)

It was put together from a bag of parts. I did the file work and polishing.
