M-2, I doubt there'd be any "sudden" problems from the higher pressure .308 rounds, more likely some accelerated wear. Mine is in carbine form, barrel shortened and bolt turned down. I noticed with full power loads, bolt lift wasn't as easy as it should be, the bent bolt seems to reduce leverage. Not a problem with lead loads, or loaded down jacketed. Took some experimenting with lead, the throat on mine is pretty tight. Still using the same bullet I use in the Krag, but seated a bit deeper than I would like. The other two molds I have are for .".31" caliber bores, like .303, 7.65 Argentine, 7.62X54, etc, and the forward part of the bullet is too large.
Does this one still have the crest on it? Mine was apparently re-arsenaled after the civil war there, and all the markings of the former regime removed.
