Will Rogers or Mark Twain?
« on: April 03, 2005, 08:05:00 AM »
One of the 2 said, Everyone complains about the weather but, no one does anything about it.

I work in it 10 to 12 hours a day, somedays even more. Rain snow sleet even when the mailman doesn't. Here in No. Va. this past week we've had better than 5" of rain, looking out the window, I see Goose crik has come over the banks. The ground is saturated, too wet to get in the pasture where I target shoot.  Now the Wind is gusting 25mph, good if you like moving targets. Safer than tying them to dog to pull  around, (go thru alot of dogs).

Guess it's a good day to stay in and read, watch lonesome dove, find a new dog. However I am not going to fix the weather.

Thanks for letting me vent, by the way I am joking about the dogs......no hate mail

Hey Lil Rooster, I remember somthing someone said to me once.  "It don't rain in the Army, It rains ON the Army."  I've always thought that was kinda sad yet funny.
