Advice on lube for pp'd bullets

  Now help me understand this. I loaded using a .125 GC. If I was to use a .125 felt lube wad, the felt would hold LESS lube than the GC, right. But, the fella that you mentioned used a .300 GC.
 Question: Why would the felt lube wad be better if the GC used more lube. Sorry to ask so many questions, still figuring things out.  WITH HELP.
