You mean they need a excuse to nap.

Morning Coffee is ready. A little cool down in the air. Upper 80?s low 90?s.  Rain maybe... any would be a blessing.

I have gotten over the past few years where I bruise fairly easy.  Even cuts from brushing something most wouldn?t get. Some times my arms and hands look like I have been beat with a club.  The other evening Suzanne asked how I got a black eye. My eye had been dry just prior to her asking and I rubbed it with my hand trying to get it to tear. Now I really look beat up.

Evening all.

Cooler day today. 75, instead of the previous 95.

For the past week my truck has been out of commission. I drove it Thursday night, then Friday morning it wouldn't start. I thought it was the starter, but I've been too busy to really check. So this morning I went to test more, and discovered that my starter is okay for now. I think this time it was the shift linkage. It wasn't registering as in Park, so it wouldn't crank. Cycle through the gears once and it fired right up. The joys of technology.

My Jeep TJ did that too.... I found if I rocked to front to rear , I would hear the  parking pin click in and it would start  a shifter cable adjustment solved it .

Saturday trip to the toy store & lunch with my friends is on tap.

Good luck Deacon

Morning all.

Currently 85 and breezy in old Billings today. As I write this, I'm sitting in the shade of a pine tree at a horse arena while my girlfriend rides. Later on we're going to pick up some new chairs across town.

Partly cloudy here and 75 degrees,Looks like a nice day out but I'm stuck inside due to my back flaring up, Helped rebuild my sons front porch yesterday and over did it. Can barely walk today so it's a muscle relaxer kind of day for me. Y'all enjoy your day.

Damnedable slush-o-matics  and their danged linkage, has caused many to not start.

My manly man stick shift wouldn't start with the clutch clear to the floor, it has to be about a half inch off the floor.

Actually should start it tomorrow, been over a week since it has been.

My stick shift truck must be even more manly-er, it doesn't need the clutch pushed down. It can even crank in gear.

But as a farm truck, it sometimes doesn't get started for a month-needs some serious pumping of the gas pedal then.

The old Jeep don?t get drove like it use to. I did take it to town to get my ccw last week. So it is good on starts for awhile.

Little rain last evening. It was a real treat for this little farm.
May get more agai  this afternoon.

Got coffee brewing going to put together some French toast on homemade bread with fresh peaches and creams cheese filling. After chores are done.
Then at 4:45 I have to change the batteries in the kitchen clock ::)

Brunch is over - made a farmers market French toast plate. Brioche bread fresh peaches from local vendors and growers and of course our own eggs. 100% Maple Syrup from producer in Mt Vernon Ohio.

It was so good I need a nap now
