Gentlemen, I just got WPG's version of the blouse, and it is excellent.   As usual, you can't go wrong with Jerry Lee!

Got the trousers too.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Army-M1885-Brown-Canvas-Trousers-size-46/233308606196?hash=item365246cef4:g:kWYAAOSwBzBczKd6

He lists each size seperate, so you've got to search thru the store to find the right size.

Hopefully someday he'll have them as a package deal on his website, like the 1899s.

I need to get a set of trousers, too, so I can have the yellow stripe sewed on.  A Rough Rider "Dress" uniform is probably as dressy as I'll ever get.

Hi
Check Cowboys in Uniform, most of the officers did the pants stripe, but nothing on the jacket.

Some didn't, but a lot of them had the jacket modified to some extent, as well.  If you look at the one surviving example, he did the collar, cuffs and buttons on the pockets.  I may do that and yellow pocket flaps as well.  If they don't have flaps I tend to catch the toe of the stock on the pocket when I bring the rifle down.  Not sure yet.  You know I'm all about bling!

....just curious, are the 46 trousers high waisted? I have never ordered clothing from WPG. Modern bluejeans are a 40-42, period trousers that fit at the navel, minimum is a 44-46. I'm contemplating getting a pair of the brown fatigue trousers. Has anyone gotten the brown trousers from Coon Creek. Curious how they stack up?

Just got a pair of the WPG duck canvas trousers Saturday. Like the fit. Actually they make me think, 19th century Carharts.
