Regarding haircuts…. For nearly 15 years I did not cut my hair, either tied it up in a ponytail with leather thongs or asked SWMBO to braid it for special events, usually special dinners, powows, etc.

Then in 2006 while working on the New Mexico house I had some close calls with ladders and power tools and gave myself a buzz cut.

It was oddly…. Refreshing.

Since them I followed youtoob directions to cut it myself when it began to irritate me. In prior times that was “overheating” or scratchy on the neck, but these days it gets cut whenever the hair starts to rustle my hearing aids lol …..

Manchester, got it today. You boxed it very good sir. Tried my vaquero birdshead in it and its a little tight but goes right in. With a short barrel gun tighter is better. Planning to let it live in it for a while. Slides on my canvas prairie belt ok too. Thanks. Ed

The Winchester Model 1873 / Re: Recreating the original .32WCF loading
« Last post by Cliff Fendley on Yesterday at 06:43:05 PM »
The Lyman 311008 is the mold number now that is the old two groove bullet like originals.

31-115D is a big lube groove bullet in the Accurate catalog that I designed for the optimal loaded length for smooth operation of the 1873 rifles and the late John Kort did the print on and submitted it. I probably should contact Tom and have him list what that bullet is for. I shoot both of those two bullets regularly in main match CAS.

Yes, I'm a real person. Mostly listen, seldom comment. There are certain things that will get me to make a comment, but not many. Generally speaking I tend to be positive and helpful if I can but under certain circumstances, hard to keep my yap shut.
Have a blessed day to all.

I will be posting particulars in the next week or so. just wanted to get this out early. Stay tuned for details.  jt

I wasn't too sure about fragiledead - his(?) post didn't look as much like the AI posts as some do.  Sure have been a crapload of AI "users" getting onto this site, though.

BTW, I just noticed that there was also a 2004 remake of Around the World in 80 Days starring Jackie Chan.  Pretty heavy on the comedy, I'm sure.  Anybody see that one?

The Shootin' Range / Re: Finally !.44 Special Cimarron American No. 3
« Last post by Abilene on Yesterday at 11:24:26 AM »
I just went to Cimarron's page.  I saw a couple of variants on the Russian and several on the Schofield, but nothing for the American.

I did find the .45 on Midway's page.    But I too am wanting it in .44 Special.   I also want a big US stamped on the frame.   It'll complete my collection of US Military Sidearms.   Most are real, but there are a handful of replicas.
Cimarron does show the American.  Their website makes it hard to find stuff.

$2600 shipped to your FFL. I can only take a money order or Zelle. Sorry, no paypal and my bank does not work with Venmo.
PM me if you are interested. Please do not use email, I likely wouldn't see it.

I do have this crosslisted on other sites.
Here is the listing on ar15.com, also showing my 39 transactions and 100% positive feedback, just in case you are nervous about dealing with the new guy ;): https://www.ar15.com/exchange/topicEE.html?t=2457059&f=93&type=1
