Ladies and Gentlemen of the Grand Army of the Frontier;
I have the honor to present my report following the GAF Military Firearms Display at Fort Hartsuff 3 & 4 Oct. 2015.
On Saturday and Sunday The GAF in conjunction with the Nebraska Humanities Council and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission presented a firearms display. This display included firearms from the Civil War up through the present and was designed to show the evolution of the American Military Firearm.
The number of visitors were off a little from past years, but those that did attend expressed far more interest and often took more that an hour studying the display and asking questions.
During the course of the weekend I had a chance to talk to members of the press from KNLV radio, The Custer County Chief (newspaper) and True West Magazine. Below are links to KNLV's coverage.
