Will actually depend on barrel and magazine length 20 inchers 10 in a 24 inch may get 1 or 2 more 16 inch a couple less than 10

Modoc:
If I remember correctly, I can fit 12 in the magazine of my 24” 25-20 WCF 1892, and I know that we can fit 10 357 mag in the wife’s Browning ‘92 magazine. We don’t bother with 38’s in the Browning because it will not feed reliably (same with my dad’s converted 1892 TD) so we load all rifle in 357.  I can get 11 38’s in my 20” Uberti 1873 for an on the clock reload.

Kinda wish I’d kept the 38 WCF 1892 Rifle, but needed a 38/357 for Jr. to shoot.

DarkLord:
My 1926 M92 24" rifle holds 13 rounds of .38 WCF.

Tascosa Joe:
Both of my 38-40 92's will hold 13 or 14.

greyhawk:
most 92 rifles (24inch barrel) will only take 12 in the magazine -- load ammo a bit short and clip the magazine spring proly gets an extra
