Glad the best wishes from all are reaching him, and he is responding to treatment.
I'll send some more picture postcards, if you think he will enjoy them.

Still waiting on delivery of my Lathe chuck, no project is being held up, so it matters not in the scheme of things

The last project was a simple MAS 36 Cruciform spike bayonet replacement handle.
Now on my Cave wall  :)

Howdy folks, hit 101F today! This place has been jumping all weekend with the kids here. We are more like grandparents to them than aunt and uncle, because we were constantly in their folks lives when they were growing up. They will leave out Tuesday morning. And the Missus heads out to Myrtle Beach for a week to visit her cousin for their annual week of attack shopping and board and card games with friends! Y'all take care.

The cat’s and I have made it halfway through our six weeks of soloing.  We’re hot, dry, and still out of the pound.  The wife’s back in Milwaukee hot, wet, and no word as of yet of any pound time (but then all the Bad Critter Infuence is still here with me).  It’s been sunny and in the 90’s for the last 3 weeks and is supposed to stay that way for the next 3.

So far no fires nearby and only a couple of days of Red Alert conditions in the area.  Hoping it stays that way through the rest of the fire season.

G'morning Gents, sitting here enjoying my second 3rd cup of a blend I made using Dunkin Doughnut & a Barnie's high octane something or other (didn't have quite enough of DD left...so I added some Barnie's)
NOT bad at all, may be my new go to.

Guesser's say it may be a nice day weather wise, Mostly Sunny, 89° humidify 85% and 25% showers tonight, Mid-July?... I'll take it, it was 101° last Wednesday. :o

No plans, beyond cashing a check at the bank, and maybe grab something light for lunch.
I have a chuck roast in the crockpot for this evening.

Latest update from Jonathan's Mom...
Jonathan is back in icu. His blood pressure is dropped and he is back on full flow oxygen. His body is still yellow and many doctors are trying to figure out what is going on. He changed so quickly. His bilirubin levels are going higher instead of dropping. He has a CT scan at 1 o'clock. On a lot of meds and may need a feeding tube tomorrow. They have him  stable now and sleeping.

Greetings all.

Been hot and windy here,, per usual.

There are a couple good fires that started in the Lolo NF while I’ve been gone. I’m a little upset at missing out on the fun, but I guess I’ll have to wait for next season.  ::)

I am now officially bored, have done good for almost 3 years and I am tired and just want to go out in the yard and play or something I don't know what,  I don't want to rea, write, never liked arithmetic but will do it if need be.  My workshop is still a mess from when the kids got the house ready for us.  I don't want to cook, not hungry, too hot to sit on the porch with the dog, wife is off running errands, I passed on the gym this morning and me and Riley just got our butts out of bed.  Got growled at last night because a pan wasn't clean, got mad and told them both I was a screw up and if they could do it better then do it.  It pissed me off because about the only time dishes are done by someone else I'm in the hospital.  Was told they have trouble reaching and if I put them away,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)   Yes I did, nobody else did.

Guess ranting made me feel better, ain't don't a good rant in a while, got coffee on, will do the dishes, I want a loaf of homemade wheat bread, guess I'll have to do that also. ::)  Not sure what supper will be, kid is going to a friends, they seem to be learning to cook over there, French cooking.   They have been making that drunken beef stew stuff, Rita bought them a small botte of rotten grape juice for it, they asked.  She did on the account they promised to cook it first.   Third time making it so if they sampled it wasn't much.  Told them to put mashed taters on top and have a Chateau pie but my joke was not considered funny, fusion cooking, English and French.  Years ago I tried cooking with wine, seems a good way to ruin meat beer is better if you must, but long ago decided it was a way for lousy cooks to hide bad cooking.

Go have my coffee, feeling better, done with the pain meds a couple of days ago, am thinking maybe I can drive again, not feeling half drunk.  Sucks, been home 4 weeks Friday and have had to be hauled around, not sure, but it was late April or early May the last time I did.  Need to get the plates and get the beast up and going, it starts when I charge the battery, don't try it with out.  Got a almost full tank needs run out, need a cool day and the backroads, radio don't work anymore so have to take the phone and Pandora, should have 3-3 1/2 hours cruise time on cheap gas, it's got Trump gas. maybe should bottle it and sell it. ;D

Got a $50 Gift card for a survey (was given a choice, either Amazon, Walmart or PayPal)
Took the Walmart and bought a full tank on them (Wally world gas) course this was in April when prices were still some under $4, now it be $ 81  ::)

Dummy ought to stay home and ask Oklahoma and Texas if they can provide more oil than going where he is.

I'm up, iced tea and pills, brought the other jug off the porch, coffee in a bit or later, not sure what's up, may go back to bed, Rita's going to therapy.   Got up and took a plastic ball away from a cat at 3 am, she was bouncing it off the bedroom door.  She does that and the dog shoves it back.  Took it out and gave it too her when I got up, she just wants to sleep, woke her up 3-4 times and now she's hiding and likely sleeping. ::)

A lot of similar on Youtube, other groups, search Iron Horse or Picking on.  A lot of that type holds up to doing blue grass style.   It's surprising.   Not sure if they are still around, but a local group They Young Czech's did a lot of that polka style and got decent crowds up in the hills.
