Richards Type II

<< < (3/3)

Pappy Hayes:
I sold the Richard-Mason in the photo above and had one of my Richard's 2 shorten to 5 1/2. Here is the new picture. Would love to add Richard's Type 1 to my collection to complete it.

Abilene:
Nice collection.  Except for those awful Army grips!  ;D
I'll have to round mine up for a group picture - don't think I've ever done that.
I was tempted by a few ASM Richards over the years, but the lack of parts and not wanting to reload another cartridge for one gun kept me from it.

Pappy Hayes:
What is wrong with the army grips

Abilene:
I have smaller hands, so I prefer Navy.  Different strokes... :)

Tuolumne Lawman:
They look fine to me!  IMHO, the Richards 1860 conversion is the quintessential  Cartridge Conversion revolver.  I have four:  A sequential serial numbered pair of 1999 Dave Anderson produced Type I Richards in .44 Colt (BHA), and a pair of Pietta/Kirst converted 1860s in .45 Colt/Schofield. One has an 8" barrel and one has a 5.5" barrel.
