I believe Canutt was Waynes stunt doulbe in a lot of movies. Usually was one of the bad guys in Republic's B westerns.

Damn! Rusty! Yer takin' home all the marbles today! The interesting thing I found out about Yakima was....he wasn't a real Indian. That was just a rumor that got started....and stuck!

Watchin' "Star Packer" tonight, now that I've returned to the more hospitable climes of Nevada Territory. Thought the picture was from this movie, as it was the only one I've seen with YaK as an Indian (by the way his character is called "Yak"). However, I didn't see the Duke on a white horse. May have missed it though.

I just caught the end of Star Packer and JW was on a white horse....and why did his gang have the white scarfs wrapped around their head?? :-\
