45-90 lever guns...

<< < (2/2)

Dakota Widowmaker:
Since its a takedown, I can actually measure it more accuratly w/o having to "fight" the reciever.

I might just do a quick chamber cast just to get it right. ($35 well spent)

I have a 340 and 405gr "express" style bullet molds. I might look into a longer nose 400gr or such.

Lars:
I would presume that the 1886 has an excellent cartridge stop, as does the 1892, so that cartridge lenght will not be a factor in feeding, so long as they are not too long. Cartridge lenght may be a factor in getting smallest groups.

Dakota Widowmaker:
It is my understanding that BPCR lever guns qualify for NCOWS and SASS events. (as long as they are single loaded)

Correct?
