Shooting high and left
« on: September 07, 2009, 03:42:39 PM »
Anyone have a shooting drill to help me from shooting high and left?  I think the problem is when I squeeze the trigger I'm twisting the gun also - need to pull not squeeze.  I have this tendency on single targets not necessarly dump targets.  BTW I shoot both pistols right handed and do not shoot duelest.  I do keep my left eye closed which has help some.
Thanks,
Jimmyb

Is Follow-Through the same as driving the gun as described in the above sticky post #4?

Dang, that's useful. Thanks for posting that. Just printed it out for reference.

I was tempted to print some of the other pictures in your folder that also came up when I hit the Print button, but I didn't think that would be neighborly.  ::)

Grip, grip, grip, squeeze the heck out of that pistol also don't put so much finger on the trigger.  The tip is all that you need.

When you load your gun, only put three in and skip some cylinders.  Spin the cylinder before you shoot so that you don't know where the empties are.  This is a great way to determine if you are flinching or not.

This solved the problem for the most part. Thanks.
