My Christmas wish is for someone to make full size (2.75 or 3 inch) brass shells. I don't like the 2.5 inchers with puny primers. Those are fine for low power action competition but I want brass shells for hunting, self-defense applications.

I also want a pewter buttplate and grip cap for my stoegy SxS.

You do realize don't you that the modern plastic 2 3/4 inch shells that you consider full size are on 2 1/2 inches long. The othe 1/4 inch is folded into the crimp.

Get some Kirksite (sp) and cast your own.  Taint that hard to do.

I want a double barrel "Greener" shotgun.  10 gauge, with 26" barrel.  double triggers would be nice, and exposed hammers.

I got three boxes of all brass 2.5" shells modified to use 209 primers.  Unfortunately, the company that made them is no longer in business.  It's nice being able to use a real shotgun primer with 550 grains of 3Fg BP.

As for what I'd like for Christmas…

The FN SLP Tactical

would make a nice addition to my shotgun collection (which contains no "black" guns).

I don't normally go for black guns since I left the service, but that is one sexy tactical shotgun.  And from the reviews I've read it's a first class piece of kit, too.  Why, there are even longer barrels and chokes available for it should you desire to use it as a sporting gun.

You think that's enough to convince Santa to leave one under the tree? :D

Well this summer I picked up a brand new BSS 20ga Would love to find an original box for it. Then just last mo. a BSS 12 GA. showed up at my door. I guess I should be happy, but I still want to find a nice SXS 410 GA. or a model 42 winchester. Yes I love shotguns and will always want more. Would love to shoot an entire 6 stage cowboy match with shotgun only.
