I am the current caretaker of modest handful of Milsurp's with a provenance.
Some have so called Bring back (capture) papers, a couple of others have a letter attesting the piece's signed history.

My Ithica 1911 is such, I acquired it from the actual pilot.
I met him and his daughter and purchased the piece.

Congrats on your New Model rifle. Mine has the Buffalo Arms CF block and S&S CF cartridge follower. It shoots the Starline 56-50 brass with a 350gr. .515 bullet. The block dropped right in and is smooth as butter. I use 35grs 1  1 /2 Swiss with a WW large rifle primmer. She is one of my best shooters. It took some effort to get all the pieces parts, but  was well worth it in the end. Jw

Finally got back in, had trouble with it and some other stuff after the big crash thingy. ::)  Not much going on. just keep plugging at stuff.  I'm ready to get some stuff from the shed, she has lots to go.

Had it cut twice since we retired in early 2019, both freebies in rehab hospitals.

Marshall, many thanks for your kind words. Thank you and Ten Wolves for moderating the Leather Shop forum. The Leather Shop has helped me tremendousuly through the years. The tips and help I've received were invaluable in helping me learn leather working.

I'll still be checking in every day.

Goodevening all, a few sprinkles today 83 right now. Put some seat covers on my Kia Carnival today, my holstered gun was rubbing the seat material. Then after that started fighting with a new laptop, it seems really nice, my old one is starting to have "issues", so doing a download/backup of the old one to a hard drive while the new one does it's stuff. Gonna work tomorrow, yesterday was a decent day there. Supposed to be in the 80s here the rest of the week with rain most days, then drying out and up to the low 90s [normal] the next week. My Dad said when I was a kid that I was gonna have a haircut short enough that folks would know I was a boy from any direction, guess I just got used to it, I've always kept it short.

When I click on the link I get this: Out of Stock /
No Backorders at this time
That's because you are about a month late.  When Starline opens up orders for any of the dash calibers, they usually sell out within hours.  And they don't make it often.  So if you really need it, get on their email notification list for next time they have it and then keep looking elsewhere because it might be a while.

But having said that, today is your lucky day, Midway has Starline 32-20 brass (not nickle) in stock right now:

And as far as that goes, Midway also has Starline 38-40 in stock.  And Starline has it on "backorder" which means you can place an order which usually ships in a few weeks.
