Anybody heard of this company?  It is certainly new to me.

I believe that this is (was?) the infamous Fletcher Bidwell Spencer "project".  ::)

I don't think so because the Spencer was the only gun Fletcher Bidwell was trying to make.  This company lists quite a few others.

Called today and talked to the owner at length.  Their web site has been up for years.  They had no idea why Spencer fans hadn't seen it.

Very small operation.  Make Spencer parts and Spencer centerfire conversion kits available through Buffalo Arms.  Never quite made all the parts needed to make new Spencer carbines.  Tried to do that several times but just never pulled it off.  Hasn't quite given up on the idea of making complete guns but this isn't a priority item.

Seemed like a nice guy.

Was interested in getting the loan of a Taylor Spencer that was having troubles to see if he could figure out what was wrong and how to fix it.  Only interested in seeing ONE such gun.  If anyone is interested you'd need to call him first.

Thanks for the info.  I did Email the owner of the company, but he never responded.   Told him about SSS, but like so many others out there, hasn't responded to my suggestion that he visit our discussion group, or just get back to me via Email.
