Oh, you had to mention that! I'm weak! I also now have something for the prize table!
-
Outstanding!
A hard core, stitch counting reinacting group I belonged to considered McChristian's 1870's book to be the bible.
I have all 3.
-
Dang!
Just received all three of the McChristian books and all I can say is if you haven't got them yet, what are you waiting for? All told the three books came in just under $25 with an extra $7 shipping. Guys; if you don't have 'em you're missing out on the best book deal of the season. The wife saw them and they are now my official anniversary present from her and a couple of my younger kids. Which I paid for...Hmmm. Something wrong there, but I really don't care. The books are great. Thanks, JimBob for letting us know they were available. ;D

This is how it always has been and always will be.
I will be ordering my set today. I already have the 1870-1880 volume. I was happy to find it for $25 so the set for $10 is a no brainer.

Well thank goodness, I know there will be enough copies out there when it comes time to borrow . . .

Hi
I already own the two volume set and the 2nd and 3rd volume of the Cavalry series. What's in the third McChristian book that's not in the two volume set?
Thanks

The uniform arms and equipment from 1865-1879. It was actually the first of the series.

Dammit, I just blew $64 and now I got two more to get.
Jeeze.

Hi
Got it, their in town shipping is pretty slow considering that it's only like 5 miles to the apartment. Since I'm shooting the Sharps not the Trapdoor, this is the book I SHOULD have gotten in the first place.
