Higher round count = more reloads, (Obviously). Then the Gamer equipment comes into play, as in Schofields. I do like the idea, should save a lot of time as opposed to changing and scoring paper targets.

I like it but would cut the round count down to 10.

It's been hotter than a three-dollar pistol in Harlem including the interest, Cola and tariffs  ::)
Guessers say a bit cooler today, then high 90's Saturday.
50% chance of rain on Sunday, Monday the goes up some for the rest of the week.

Found a baby duck in the pool last evening, no mom or others in sight. No clue where it's from or how he/she got there.
My daughter is coming to get him as she has some yard birds
and feathered foundlings.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

'Tis 48 and sunny. "Partly sunny. A chance of sprinkles in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s. North wind 10 to 15 mph."

Miss my Pedersoli Sharps in .40-65. As I recall, the Lyman Snover 410663 gave a good account of itself. I've never been disappointed by a Buffalo Arms mold.

The Barracks / New System for Precision Pisto...

Several of us attended the Division of Nebraska Muster last fall where falling plates of diminishing size were used. We talked about it and came to the conclusion that it was a much better way of holding the Precision Pistol than what we had been doing. Lt. Col. Niederlander ran with it and, honestly, I had forgotten about it until night before last.
What we're going to do is, allow each shooter fifteen rounds. The score is the number of plates hit and the tiebreaker is the time.

Evening all.

Guessers are calling for high 80s, sun and moderate wind tomorrow. Got a couple little fires locally, hopefully they stay small.

This week I got ready for three off-Forest fire assignments. All three were canceled. The last one was to the Jaw Fire, down in Mojave. Supposed to head down at 9am this morning, but got the cancellation at 6am. That's how it goes I suppose.

Tomorrow the agenda calls for taking the engine in for new tires(not an emergency, the current ones are just terrible for the intended purpose. Thanks Uncle Sam), then a whole bunch of training.
