Justin Boot Centennial Set 1879-1979
« on: November 18, 2006, 11:34:22 AM »
I have this cased set as follows;

Model 1866 Fully engraved receiver
S.A.A. Engraved
Caliber .44/40
Serial No. On Both: J510

I know of only one other set & it is in the Juston Boot Co. outlet in Justin, Texas. This has
been posted on other sites & was in the SASS Chronicle. I could not get any info from the Justin Boot Co.,
Navy Arms (Importer) or Uberti.

I would like to know if anyone on this forum has ever seen another set like this. ??? ???

There is one 1866 Justin Rifle in the Uberti factory museum in Gardone/VT. Beautiful gun.

I have the pistol from the set that I bought off a gun dealer about 26 years ago.  It took me a long time to find out what it was but I did email Justin Boot Company and the sent back to me that they were special ordered sets for the 100 hundred year anniversary of the company and were never sold to the public.  They were given to company officials.  I was told that there were only 750 sets made.

One of my shooting partners has one.  His Mrs bought the set for his birthday 'cause his first name is Justin.

Hi, I have a friend who has this complete set and can't find any information on values or availability. Can you tell me what you have found.
Thanks,

No clue.  Don't know how many were made.  However, these are "old build" Uberti guns and there are no parts available for them.
