This may belong in Gun Reviews, but I am not reviewing a gun. I am commenting on a manufacturer.
I bought a Henry Big Boy in 45 Colt. OK, it really isn't a replica of the original 1866 Henry, but it is strongly built and very attractive. The wood butt stock and fore end had some very minor cosmetic imperfections, but it was really minor and could only be noticed under a bright light on my reloading table. It was not enough to return the rifle. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I wrote to Henry and asked what it would cost to purchase a new fore end and butt stock.
I received an email from the CEO and owner of Henry, Mr. Imperato, that said to supply my home address and there would be a new, fancy walnut fore end and butt stock delivered, NO COST.
The wood showed up yesterday and was a beautiful, fancy walnut and came with a note that they strive to keep the customer pleased!
Now THAT is customer service!
I have no connection to Henry Repeating Arms aside from this interaction.
