Hey Texas I have heard that the kiwi's may have beaten us Aussies, in The Duel Downunder

DD

To confirm the rumour. Yes the Kiwis won the Duel

A great shoot and the weather stayed fine. The range facilities were great. Sudden built a saloon in the 21 days prior to the event and the socialising was held there.

Hey there Dai, certainly sounds like the TransTasman went off real well and a lot of work goes into those big shoots so it's great when they're a succsess.

Dai,
it was good to meet up with you. As you said, it makes it better if you can out a face to who you are talikng to.

I have to say a heartfelt thanks to our NZ branch of the 'FAMILY' for showing us Aussies a fun time. I need to publicly thank Rimfire for the use of his shotgun for the last 2 days. It would have been difficult without the use of it.

Now, that Kiwi win !!!!!!.  Congratulations to all who competed. It probably was not as close as we would have wanted, but a deserved win to the New Zealanders. We were outshot, but not necessarily outclassed ;D ;D. Just look at the awards that Sudden presented at the end. It's the Aussies who are the stayers :D :D ;D :-*.

So, until next time,

Keep practicing and keep that powder dry.

Regards.

Judge,

The feeling was mutual. I had a great time meeting with all you Aussies. Pass my regards on to your good lady. I think I bent her ear for a while.

I am looking forward to next year in Aussie. I will be there.

Dai,

I have been thinking (that in its own right is a concern  :P) about sometning that Sudden spoke to me about. I will see what we can do about having a reciprocal agreement with our Firearms Registry (via the Sporting Shooters Association) for a fee exemption for a temp licence when the next one is on. I cannot promise anything, but we can only try. As the next one will be at Newtec, I will run it by Mister Skye (who is doing better by the way) and see who we need to speak to about it. As we are such close neighbours, I would very much like some sort of arrangement to be put in place.

Will see how we go.

Regards
