Pietta Serial Numbers

Gentlemen,  I'm looking at a single action (Italian) that has a P in front of the serial number.  Does that indicate a Pietta make, or do Ubertis have that, too?

I do not know about Pietta, but Cimarron Uberti Model P's have had a 'P' before the serial number for over 20 years.
