Takedown screw on Stevens crackshot
« on: May 02, 2021, 08:39:47 AM »
I got a Stevens crackshot 26 in .22 cal. The takedown screw was gone
and somebody replaced it with a 1/4-20 screw which screwed up the
threads. I ordered some parts from Jack First, including the correct
take down screw, but it is a weird thread size. about .189" and 24
tpi. I am going to try to fit in an adapter, but don't know about a tap

That’s a #10x24 tpi that is a standard screw size.
