I went to the first CAS match of the year today. Shot 6 stages, 3 were great, 1 was so so and the other two were train wrecks. But I had a great time with friends I haven't seen since last year so all in all was a good day.
It's nice to see a great positive attitude!

We had one in KC about 10 years ago.  Go back to 69 or 70 we lived in western tennessee.  It is actually one of 2 earliest memories.   I was 3 or 4 and the quake on the new madrid shook my bed across the room.  It left an impression.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

I have never felt an earthquake. But, I have been around enough tornadoes.  ::)

'Tis 30 and sunny. High of 52 and sunny.

Sorta true, you may not have felt one, but you were in one the night it rained bad and we slept at Jerry's house.  The epicenter was about 40 miles west of us.  They had one one time during school and everyone but Jerry.  He was on a ladder hammer drilling.

In July 1957 I was 9 years old, and recall the Guerrero, Mexico City quake.
It was 7.9 magnitude, my folks, sister and I were in Mexico.
We had, spent the last 2 weeks in Chapala and stayed in Mexico City the night before.
That very day we were at Popocatépetl volcano (43 mi) southeast of Mexico City.
The night it happened we were in villa about 100 miles away, it hit about 3AM.
I was asleep and woke as my bed marched/danced around the room  :o
Where we were, there was the felt shocked, but no damage, Mexico City was devastated.

There were two earthquakes in Milwaukee in 1947. I remember one of them. I was seven years old and sitting on the porcelain throne at the time.
It scared the ***** *** ** **.
